Shipping and returns

Our goal is to accurately pick, package, and ship your orders, so you can focus on your creative project. Bello Modo is a small, woman-owned business (there’s just 3 of us), and generally we’re able to ship your order out within 2-3 business days.

We ship via USPS from Olympia WA.

 

What are your shipping rates?

Effective October 17th 2022, our shipping rates are as follows.

Domestic shipping (United States + Puerto Rico)

  • Free shipping via USPS First Class on orders $48 or more
  • Orders under $48
    • USPS First Class $4.39
    • Priority Mail $8.95

International shipping

Note: Customs fees and taxes charged by your country are your responsibility.

Canada

  • First Class $17.95
  • Priority Mail $54.95

Other countries we ship to

  • First Class $26.95
  • Priority Mail $56.95

When can I expect my order?

Depending on your location, domestic orders shipped first class will take 2-7 business days to arrive.

 

What’s the best way to get in touch with a question about my order?

We’re available to help Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM PST. You’ll get the quickest response contacting us via email or text message.
Note: Returns must be sent via First Class mail.

 

What if I want to return an item?

Our goal is for you to be a satisfied, long term customer. If you’d like to return your order, please get in touch within 30 days (email or text message are best). We’ll ask that you return items via First Class mail, and generally a restocking fee of 15% will apply. Please remember to include your order number when sending your item(s) back to us.

We are unable to accept returns on: Books, kits, patterns, or items cut to order, such as chain and ribbon. Additionally, items that we special order for you, or items that are on sale or closeout are non-returnable.

Is it possible to special order an item?

Yes! We’re happy to help you special order large quantities or items that we may not normally carry in stock. Please reach out via email or text message and let us know what you’re looking for.

 

What if my order is lost or damaged during shipping?

We take great care to package your order so it arrives in perfect condition, but if your package is lost or damaged in shipping we will do everything we can to help you. We cannot be responsible for the package after it leaves our shop, but we will do everything we can to assist with the postal authorities.

Orders shipped domestically via Priority Mail are insured up to $100, and all international orders are insured for the total value of the order. If you would like to add insurance to your First Class shipment, please reach out after placing your order.
