C-Lon Cord

C-Lon Bead Cord is an extra-heavy, UV resistant 3 ply twisted multifilament nylon thread, available in an amazing array of 116 colors.

Perfect for simple or complex beading projects, bead crochet, cord-making, kumihimo braiding, half-hitching, laddering, Cavandoli tapestry knotting or micro-macrame jewelry.

If you currently use Conso or Mastex Nylon #18, the C-Lon Bead Cord is a comparable product with the added attraction of 127 bright colors and a smaller price.
The breaking strength is approx 34 lbs. The Tex 210 thread diameter is less than 0.5mm (0.5 millimeter = 0.019 685 039 inch = 1.26/64th of an inch). It fits easily one time through the holes of standard 4mm gemstone beads, and 8/0 seed beads and larger. The doubled thread on a split-eye needle passes easily through Miyuki 8/0s.

Each bobbin/spool is approximately 1-1/8 inches in diameter and 1-5/8 inches tall and holds approximately 92 yards. Made in the USA.
