Chasing Hammer 4 oz.

Chasing hammers have a large face for striking chasing tools or flattening precious metals. The pein, or ball shaped side is for riveting and metal design. The slightly rounded face on the forged head is wedge-mounted on an 11" hardwood handle. The face on this one is 28 mm or 1 1/8" in diameter.
