Parawire

Bello Modo is proud to offer Parawire's line of permanently colored copper wires, finished with a coating of nylon to inhibit tarnishing. We offer wire in gauges 12-30, as well as 1/2 Round and Square wires.

We also offer wire in a larger spool size than most, prefering to offer a better value for our customers. As an example, our 20 gauge Metallic Color spools hold 75' while most of our competitors offer the small spools of 30'.  This makes for a much more affordable purchase especially if you are using it to make components or wire wrapping. 

Parawire’s exclusive coloring process produces bright colors with a durable finish. Wire is offered in two styles: Metallic Colors and Silver Plated Colors. The difference is the addition of fine silver to the process, giving the Silver Plated colors a silvery brilliance. Due to the cost of silver the colors that are silver plated are offered in smaller rolls, generally about 50% less on a spool. An example is 20 gauge Amethyst, it has 40' per spool, with the Metallic colors holding 75' per spool. We do still ofer the large rolls in Silver Plated Colors ( the smaller rolls only hold 18').

Tips and Hints:

We advise you use this wire with coated tools and or some practise to get to know how much pressure you can use before damaging the finish. Nylon jawed pliers are very useful also. You can also visit Parawire's Facebook age, and see how other artists have used it.
