Originally the definition of size 11/0 meant that there are 11 beads to the inch, but with delica's it tends to be more like 17 to 22 beads per inch, depending on the finish.
In general, there are 7 to 8 grams in each 3" tube of size 11/0 hex or cut and there are around 230 beads in a gram so a tube holds 1610+ beads per tube. The except to this rule is the precious metals coated delicas which are packaged with 6 grams to a tube.
If you order 4 tubes you will receive your beads in a rectangular tube with a flip top.
Points to Consider About Delicas:
- The center hole in a delica bead is larger than a seed bead, which makes them light so you get more beads per gram of weight.
- And there are very few imperfect beads needing to be culled, unlike czech seed beads.
- Also, each of the colors has a specific number so you can order the exact color you need for your your project.
We have provided a color sample for each bead color, but please use these only as a rough guide as the actual color may vary significantly from the sample picture. This is due to the different finishes on the beads and how they react to different light sources. Also computer monitors can show colors differently.
If you want to order by number, don't know the color name, just search for the number, example: Enter db789 or whatever number you want in the search box and it will come up by the color name.
