Toobs are a slotted tube with fold-down "ears" on each end. The first row of beads slides into the slit and the ears on each end fold down to secure the beadwork.
Toobs are made to be used with size 11 cylinder beads such as Delicas, Treasures, or Japanese 15/0's.
To use them with other sizes weave 2 rows with cylinders or 15/0's, then begin using your larger beads of choice.
Use Toobs with loomwork, square stitch, or peyote stitch.
To use them with peyote stitch, weave 2 rows of square stitch, THEN begin your peyote. The first for of square stitch will slide onto the toob.
