These resin beads are made in a small village in Java, an island in Indonesia. It is a small cottage industry, with groups of 2-3 people, often families, focusing on a shape or color, making them by hand. They are not mass produced. This small industry provides much needed jobs in an area that relies on their beadmaking income. New colors and shapes are continually being developed.
Note: I am working on getting these listed, but it will take me some time, so if you are looking for a type or size that is not listed please let us know as we may have them in stock, just have not gotten them listed yet.
