Apatite (blue and green) is found all over the world; however our beads come from the mine in Madagascar. Apatite is a softer stone with a medium to dark blue-green/teal hue. Its name comes from the Greek word apate, meaning "to deceive”. Held up to a light, Apatite glows of blue luster.
