We offer many threads and cords, from made in the USA to made in Japan, we strive to offer the best, most reliable cords and threads. We have tested and used them all to make sure they all measure up. The following is a list of all the kinds we offer.

Terminology:

Decitex (dtex) : Unit of the linear density of a continuous filament or yarn, equal to 1/10th of a tex or 9/10th of a denier. Denier: A unit of measure for the linear mass density of fibers. It is defined as the mass in grams per 9,000 meters. In the International System of Units the tex is used instead. The denier is based on a natural standard: a single strand of silk is one denier. A 9,000 meter strand of silk weighs one gram.

Tex: Tex is a unit of measure for the linear mass density of fibers and is defined as the mass in grams per 1000 meters. Tex is more likely to be used in Canada and,Continental Europe while denier remains more common in the United States and United Kingdom. The unit code is "tex". The most commonly used unit is actually the decitex, abbreviated dtex, which is the mass in grams per 10,000 meters. When measuring objects that consist of multiple fibers the term "filament tex" is sometimes used, referring to the mass in grams per 1000 meters of a single filament.

All C-lon is made of Nylon.

C-Lon Thread Size AA: Thin beading thread for peyote, square stitch, brick stitch, bead-weaving, loom weaving, and all bead work with small seed beads such as 15/0s.

C-Lon Thread Size D: Standard weight beading thread for peyote, square stitch, brick stitch, beadweaving, loom weaving, and all types of bead work with seed beads.

C-Lon Micro Cord: Thin bead cord for fine micro macrame, small hole bead stringing, bead crochet with 11s and 15s, and is available in 32 colors. Breaking strength 11lbs, approx 0.12mm diameter. 320 yds per bobbin.

C-Lon Fine Weight (Tex 135) Bead Cord: The newest size of C-Lon bead cord, half way between micro cord and regular bead cord.

Tex 135 - available in 16 colors. Approximate diameter of 0.4mm and breaking strength of 25 lbs. +/- 136yd/124m per bobbin.

C-Lon Bead Cord: A superior bead cord for micro macrame, bead crochet with 8/0 or larger seed beads, stringing, and kumihimo. 34 lbs breaking strength, approx. 0.5mm diameter. 82-86 yds per bobbin)

C-Lon Tex 400 Bead Cord: New heavy (.9mm) bead cord for micro macrame, kumihimo, and bead stringing. Break strength approx 75 lbs. 39 yds per bobbin)

Amiet Thread: 20m/22yds. Per package. 2,520decitex, 2,270denier. 100% Polyester.

One-G: 50yds of top quality 100% Nylon beading thread that does not fray. 300Denier or 330dtex.

SoNo Thread: 330dtex, 100% Nylon 100m or 110yds spools.

KO Thread:330dtex, 100% Nylon 50m or 55yds.
