NEW! Crystal Frames & Connectors These brand new hot, hot, hot findings are going to take the beading world by storm really soon! Once word gets around about these we will have a hard time keeping them in stock. There are two types of findings, the pendant style bails and the double ring connectors, available in four plated finishes: Gold, Silver Rhodium, Gunmetal, and Antique Copper. They have been specially designed to fit Swarovski's #1122 Rivoli's, #4139 Cosmic Rings, and #4439 Square Rings. They have been manufactured to match each size that the crystals are made in so it is easy to make graduated sets and design your jewelry with whichever size that you desire to use. Each frame is custom sized to fit each of the findings perfectly. 2-part epoxy is the recommended glue to use to permanently fix the crystals in the findings, so easy to do! WireLace™ A new stringing product we offer called WireLace™ has been a hit at the bead shows we have been attending, the response from the public has been overwhelming. WireLace™ is a woven wire tube made of a combination of brass, copper, and aluminum. It is made in Italy, and comes in 30 colors, which are a result of enamel bonded to the wire mesh. WireLace™ is guaranteed to be: * Nickel-free * Waterproof * Heat resistant to 265 degrees (try baking it into polymer clay!) It has a multitude of uses, and is so much fun to experiment with. It can be used flat or spread out. You can run strands of beads inside it, it works well in multi-stranded designs, you can knot it, run ribbons and cords through it, and even string beads onto it. And it comes in a stunning array of colors! We have had customers purchase it for Crazy Quilting, Weaving, Doll Making (some of the colors curl really well and make great hair), Scrapbooking, and of course, Jewelry making. Imaginatively crafted in intricate detail using techniques like raised-relief repousse and fine-line etching. The nickel-free brass glows with a natural caramel color achieved without plating or chemical treatment. A warm, pleasing neutral that blends well with many other colors and metals. Delicas Galore We are proud to offer the full line of Miyuki's Delica seed beads, in both sizes 11/0 and 8/0, and now we carry the full selection of the new size 10/0 Miyuki Delicas! We are busily adding them to the web site so check back often to see all of the colors. We think the new, slightly larger 10/0 size are a welcome addition to the Miyuki's line, and expect them to be very popular with jewelry makers, bead sculptors, teachers and students. We also carry almost the entire line of Miyuki's Rocaille (Round) seed beads, cube beads, triangle beads, bugle beads, drop beads, and 10 Twist 2-cuts that Miyuki makes. We think that Miyuki makes the some of the highest quality of all the Japanese beadmakers, and we think you will agree too. Consistent size and centered holes make for hardly any culls. Try a few out and see for yourself! Golem Studios Lovely ceramic beads and pendants made by Vladislav and Kremena Ivanova, who live in Veliko Tarnovo,in Bulgaria. They have been working as a team and a company since 2000, making their beads and pendants by hand. Exacting and labor intensive methods assure that the beads are consistent yet artful and beautiful. Living where they do, on a crossroads between Europe and Asia, they have developed eclectic interests and tastes, which are reflected in the unique style of their work. Although the beads and pendants cannot be associated with any specific national tradition or style, they incorporate patterns taken from a variety of ancient and contemporary art forms, some of which remind me of North Coast Indian imagery. We will continue to build our stock of their products over the next couple of months.
